Sang with Indianapolis Opera for seven years, so some classical training.
What’s one of your favorite performing moments?
Starring as Effie in Dreamgirls and Sofia in The Color Purple tour which stopped at the Strand a few years ago.

My husband Jerome Davis and kids Miki, Bri, and Jayden.
Who are your musical influences?
Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston
What are your musical goals?
Move, touch and inspire audiences with meaningful music that gives hope to the hopeless.
What do you do when you’re not performing?
I am CEO of Dream Empire Films and Productions, a best-selling author and founder of the OneRace Human Race Foundation and Film Festival.

The historic Strand Theatre lights up the downtown Marietta square with live theatre, films, concerts, comedy, private events, and more.
