Booking the Auditorium

The Strand Theatre, the last remaining historic theatre in Cobb County, lights up the Marietta Square and provides a venue for films, live entertainment, and corporate or private events. The beautiful art deco auditorium seats 530 and features a projector, movie screen, and four dressing rooms backstage.

Disability Access	Accessible Seats Four aisle seats have been adapted. They feature a pivoting aisle arm rest which can be lifted from a horizontal position to a vertical position so that it is parallel to the back of the chair, thereby allowing an individual with limited motility easier access into and out of the chair. (G101, J2, T2, T1)
	Removable Seats Four removable seats make room for two wheelchairs on either end of the front row/middle section. (B101 & B102; B107 & B108)
	Wheelchair Seating There is an additional area in the back row for a wheelchair with one to two companion seats on one side. (Row W)

Load-In/Out is through a full size (10′ x 10′) loading door backstage left. Dock height is 52″

Stage Curtains

On stage are the Burgundy Grand Curtain, two black traveling curtains, two sets of Black Legs, and three Black Borders. All but the Grand Curtain may be hung to suit the needs of your performance, but sufficient time and personnel must be allocated in your contract to make the changes and to restore all items to original configuration after the final performance.

Technical Equipment

Basic sound and lighting equipment is included in the auditorium rental fee, though some items incur additional charges. All equipment must be returned undamaged and in working condition.

Lighting	Console: ETC Ion 3000 with (2) 1×20 fader wings. Conventional Fixtures: (58) 750W Source Four Lekos with various lenses (22) 575W Source Four PARs Smart Fixtures: (2) Chauvet Professional Maverick Force S Profile 350W LED Moving Head fixtures are permanently installed on the house catwalk, and can be used to provide colored washes, spots, gobos, and effect lighting. (8) 21″ Selador Paletta LED fixtures are permanently installed above the stage, and can be used to add color to the mid-stage traveler and upstage cyclorama. The standard house plot may be changed to suit your needs but must be fully restored before leaving the space after the final performance. Please allocate sufficient time (and personnel) in your rental contract to make any necessary changes and to restore equipment to its original configuration.
Audio	The house soundboard is an Allen & Heath SQ7, which can be controlled remotely via our house iPad. The house PA is comprised of (4) arrays of (2 each) Renkus-Heinz ICLive X Series loudspeakers, (2) Renkus-Heinz CA-82 two-way Complex Conic loudspeakers for front-fill coverage, and (4) Renkus-Heinz PN212 dual 12-inch subwoofers. The house sound system is capable of sustaining a volume of 105 decibels throughout the venue. Limited wired and wireless Shure, MiPro, Audix and Avantone microphones are available. There are 6 available sends to the stage and 6 DB Technologies M12-4 Monitors. Wired headsets/Clear-Com (communication) is available on stage, in the balcony, in the orchestra pit and in the technical booth. (4) EarTec UltraLITE wireless headsets are also available.
Video	The house projection system includes: (1) 22′ x 22′ projection screen, permanently installed behind the main curtain. The screen can be stopped at any position above the stage. (1) Digital Projection E-Vision Laser 10K projector, installed in front of the house balcony. The projector can also be used to project graphics onto the main curtain, mid stage and upstage travelers, and upstage wall/cyclorama. (1) Oppo BDP-95 Blu-ray Disc Player
Please check with the Technical Director at least 4 weeks prior to your show to discuss equipment availability, specific needs or to arrange rental of any equipment not available at The Strand.

Dressing Rooms

Four dressing rooms and two restroom facilities are located under the stage. The combined areas can accommodate 30 to 35 performers.
