KEENAN ROGERSClifton Feddington

Keenan Rogers is excited to return to the iconic Strand Theatre stage for the third time, recently seen in Forever Plaid (Sparky) and Smoke on the Mountain (Reverend Oglethorpe). With an impressive 15-year-long career as an actor, he has performed in venues such as the Alliance, Fox, Georgia Ensemble Theater, and more. 

He attended Florida State University where he became a part of the world-renowned FSU Flying High Circus, mesmerizing tens of thousands of spectators as the esteemed Ringmaster and performed on the Russian Bar and Flying Trapeze, solidifying his status as a multifaceted performer with a flair for the extraordinary. In his spare time, Keenan enjoys making music videos with his 6 siblings on YouTube. He thanks you all for coming and dedicates this show to his Uncle Howell and Uncle Terry.

ZAC W. PHELPS ★ Neal Tilden, Choreography

Zac is an award-winning choreographer, director, and actor. He previously served as founding Artistic Director for Marietta Theatre Company for three years. Zac has performed in, directed and choreographed many productions at The Strand including: Whose Wives Are They Anyway, Jukebox Giants: Motown & More!, A Christmas Tradition, AbbaBeegees Musical Review, Little Shop of Horrors, Forever Plaid, and Footloose. Zac has also been recognized for his direction and choreography work for high schools that have been nominated for Shuler Hensley Awards. 

Regional credits include: Fiddler on the Roof (City Springs Theatre Company) Bullets Over Broadway (Georgia Ensemble Theatre); Les Misérables (Alliance Theatre); Big River (Atlanta Lyric Theatre); Silence! The Musical (Onstage Atlanta); Great American Trailer Park Musical (Marietta Theatre Company). In his free time, Zac is a lover of tequila, whiskey, coffee and menswear. All my love to Angela, Steph, and his three dogs: Moses, Cash, and Tonka.

KATE METROKAAnn Collier

Kate Metroka is a SAG actress who got her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Miami. She is excited to be making her debut at The Strand, having done several shows across the square with Marietta Theatre Company (most recently in The Real Housewives of Marietta). Other fun credits include The Motherline (NYC Fringe Festival), Show Boat (SLO PAC Opera), Twelfth Night (Adirondack Shakespeare Tour), Little Shop of Horrors (New Theatre in the Square), Baby (Act 3), Next to Normal (Syracuse Red House). You can catch her in a number of commercials, and her Lifetime Feature Film comes out this fall. Thanks to my incredible family, my village of mothers, and BMG Talent. IG is @katemetroka

ISABELLA CLAIRE ENGBERG ★ Connie Miller

Isabella is beyond grateful to be a part of this year’s production of the 1940’s Radio Hour musical!  Recent credits include “Nicole Barker” – The House Among the Trees, “Adelaide” – Guys and Dolls, “Kelsi” – High School Musical, “Kafka” – All In The Timing, and Teen Fiona in Shrek the Musical. In her free time you can find her reading her favorite rom coms and spending time with her friends. Isabella would like to thank her mom and dad for helping her dreams become her reality!! 

MARISSA GARCIA ★ Ginger Brooks

Marissa Garcia is making her Strand debut in The 1940’s Radio Hour. Marissa, a graduate of Millikin University (BFA Musical Theatre & Dance minor), is a SAG-AFTRA eligible actor who has recently been in the short film Unnamed, playing Jules. Regional Theatre: Roderigo in Othello (Women’s Theatre Festival),  Siblings/Mama in virtual reading of Beheading Columbus (Occupy the Stage 2022); Film: Veronica in Extreme Obsession I and Extreme Obsession II; New Works: Carol in Why Are You Like This? (Tom Robson); Educational Theatre: Tina in Sister Act (Millikin University), Sally in A Hand of Bridge (Millikin University).  Marissa is grateful to her parents, family, and friends for their continued support and love, and would like to thank all those involved in The 1940’s Radio Hour for making this the best experience. SARAH SPURGER ★ Ally Ferguson

Sarah is thrilled to be back on The Strand Theatre stage! Sarah made her debut at The Strand in 2022 with the annual production of A Christmas Tradition. She has been acting and singing professionally since signing with her first agent at 8 years old. Sarah studied Radio, Television, and Film at the University of Texas at Austin, where she worked primarily as a producer and sound designer. You can also see Sarah in theaters this fall as Martha in Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon”. 

JEFF COOPER ★ Johnny Cantone

Jeff is thrilled to be back on stage at the amazing Strand Theatre, after performing in last year’s production of Smoke on the Mountain. Originally from Atlanta, and now a Marietta resident, Jeff has extensive theatre experience on stages around Atlanta and is a three-time Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre (MAT) Award winner including Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of “Leo Bloom” in The Producers.  Favorite roles include “Preacher Larry Finney” in Della’s Diner and “Max” in Andrews Brothers with Marietta Theatre Company, “Bert” in Mary Poppins, “Billy Flynn” in Chicago, and “Don Lockwood” in Singin’ in the Rain.  In “real” life, Jeff is a Principle with Health Care Program Advisors and enjoys being “Papa” to his six grandchildren, Mac, Kennedy, Cooper, Everleigh, Caden, and Shepherd (all of whom live here in Marietta!).  Special thanks to his loving wife, Tina, for her endless support of his passion for theatre.

RONDA WILSON ★ Lou Cohn

Big things come in small packages and at 4ft 9in Ronda V. Wilson is fully equipped. This songstress has wowed audiences from an early age, starting by reenacting “FAME” in her grandmother’s living room with her sister and seven cousins. Her parents were original members of the Stellar Award winning Tri-City Singers and she is the sister-in-law to 1Love of the Grammy Award winning Arrested Development. Her soulful gospel, jazz and R&B vocals are mesmerizing. She is a natural on stage and her passion for music is evident in her expression of song and dance. The Greenville, South Carolina native was lead to Atlanta by God in 2003 to pursue her music career. 

Since moving to Atlanta she has had the pleasure of touring with the Grammy Award winning group Arrested Development and singing background for Mariah Carey. She has also shared the stage with George Benson, Al Jarreau, Ronald “Boo” Hinkson at the Jazz Festival in St. Lucia. This talented songstress played the lead role of Evon in the 2005 independent production of “Return Adam”. Her background vocals are also featured on the 2006 blockbuster soundtrack of “Akeelah and the Bee”. She is featured on several jazz albums by such artist as Hudson on Bass “Bassically Yours”, Tracy Hamlin “Better Days”, Brooke Alford “Viosocalist” and the soundtrack to the independent film “One Wish”.

VAN PEARLBERG ★ Pops Bailey

Van is thrilled to be on The Strand stage again having performed in “The Sunshine Boys”; “The Odd Couple”; “Footloose” and “Whose Wives are they Anyway”. Other stage performances in and around metro Atlanta have been at the Aurora theater, Onstage Atlanta,The Atlanta Jewish Community Center, the Marietta Civic Center and at the Polk Street Players and include “Breaking Legs”; “Come Blow Your Horn”; “Plaza Suite”,”Horowitz and Mrs. Washington”; “Mame”; “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”; “Cactus Flower”; “Greetings” and “Death by Chocolate”. Van has also performed stand up comedy at “The Punchline” in Atlanta.  

A former Marietta City Councilman, Van retired in 2013 as Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney from the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office after 25 years of service and recently retired as Director of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the Georgia Attorney General’s Offices.  Van lives on Church street in Marietta, is a graduate of Pork U bar-b-que school and The Big Green Egg Boot Camp. He also enjoys family vacations, attending the Atlanta Braves Fantasy Camp with his sons, playing the accordion and learning to play the alto saxophone.

JOHN JENKINSBiff Baker

John is ecstatic to be back at The Strand! You may have seen him last as Jinx in 2022’s Forever Plaid. Favorite credits include The Andrew’s Brothers (Marietta Theatre Company), Spring Awakening (Onstage Atlanta), Little Women (Act3 Productions), Bathhouse the Musical (Orlando Fringe). He also spent time as an entertainer at Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Seaworld. When not performing, John works as the program director at The Little Gym of Smyrna and enjoys watching old movies with his corgi. John would like to thank his partner Adam and his family for their continued support and love of his love for the stage.

CINDI COSTOULAS Director, Costumer

Cindi Costoulas studied voice at the University of Georgia and, after raising five children, returned to college and graduated with a degree in Television Production. She is married to her true love, John, who is extremely supportive of her artistic endeavors. She loves to play in the dirt, read, travel, attend movies and theatre productions, hang out with the kids…and play in the dirt some more.

Her performance background includes regional productions in Athens, Roswell, and Marietta. Her favorite performing role was Sister Hubert in Nunsense and dreams of the day when she could fill the role of the Killer Queen in We Will Rock You. Along with many children’s productions, her directing credits include The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; Smoke on the Mountain; and Fiddler on the Roof. Her Strand directing credits include Smoke on the Mountain (2019, 2022) and Forever Plaid (2022).

MANDA COSTOULAS Assistant Director, Production Manager

Manda Costoulas is a writer, designer, and a lifelong theatre behind-the-scenes-er. She has had the opportunity to be involved in multiple disciplines of theatre including writing for stage and screen, acting, and directing. She has won screenwriting awards for her work on short films “Duet” and “Testament,” both winners of the The 48 Hour Film Project Best Film award.

She has been on staff at the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre for 14 years and currently serves as The Strand’s Operations Director. At The Strand, she has assistant directed Smoke on the Mountain (2019, 2022) and Forever Plaid (2022). She’s excited to once again team up with the inimitable Cindi Costoulas to bring another great show to life on her favorite stage.
