Donate to the Annual Fund

Sitting proudly on the Marietta Square, The Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre has been restored thanks to a generous community that has nostalgic connections to this beloved cultural gem. Restoration of The Strand has been a true community effort, and since its re-opening in 2009, musicals, classic films, concerts, and educational offerings have all graced The Strand’s stage, drawing audiences as varied as the theatre’s Cobb County home.

Gifts to the Annual Fund address the most pressing day-to-day needs of the theatre, and gifts of all sizes make a difference! Without the Annual Fund, The Strand would not be able to support the many functions which benefit the theatre’s home – both as a physical entity and as a place for varied art forms to perform and engage with the Cobb community at large. More specifically, this support funds shows, allows repairs to be made to the historic building, and covers basic costs such as lighting and air.
