Weddings at the Strand
The Wedding March
More couples are choosing to host their receptions at The Strand Theatre, one of the most beautiful and unique locations in Marietta. Not only are they available for wedding receptions, but also for rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, and farewell brunches.
Brides and grooms are even exchanging their vows under the golden proscenium arch in the 531-seat auditorium. With 400 seats on the main floor, the space can feel intimate for even 200 guests. The art deco theatre provides a unique and sophisticated atmosphere for weddings, with the ability for the bride to head down the aisle to the tune of the “Wedding March” on the theater organ. Later, the bride & groom will see their names in lights as their special news is proclaimed on the marquee.
“The atmosphere was elegant but also casual and relaxed. It was perfect.” — Jamie Richardson, the first bride to tie the knot on The Strand’s stage
“The facilities met our needs perfectly and the staff was very professional, attentive and helpful. I don’t think it could have been any better.” — Stanley Savincki, father-of-the-bride
“Our rehearsal dinner was everything we hoped it would be and more! I understand the time that goes into coordinating any event and you made it effortless for us. When our guests arrived, they were amazed at the location and how lovely it is. The kids were thrilled and will always remember their special night.” — Val Midkiff, mother of the groom
“We loved having our party there and talk about it all the time. I tell all my single friends they should have their wedding/reception at The Strand.” — Mia Lord, a bride who tied the knot in Hawaii and celebrated with her groom, Tim, and their loved ones at The Strand
“Everything for the rehearsal dinner went just like I had in my head that it would go, including the weather! It was a fabulous, festive venue, and my son and his new bride had a wonderful time. Our guests also talked about it all weekend. Bret and Anna especially enjoyed seeing their name in lights! Thanks so much for helping make it a magical evening.” — Renee White, mother of the groom
